The simpler prescription system introduced due to the pandemic will no longer be valid at the end of June. You can find more information on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apothekerkammer.at\/aktuelles\/news\/e-rezept-und-covid-tests-ab-juli#:~:text=Ab%201.%20Juli%202023%20ist,Medikation)%20l%C3%A4uft%20Ende%20Juni%20aus.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>What exactly do you need to consider in future?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fact 1: <\/strong>The e-prescription can still be ordered by telephone from your doctor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fact 2: <\/strong>Copies, faxes and e-mails are no longer accepted by the health insurance company.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fact 3: <\/strong>Medicines requiring authorisation must again be authorised in advance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fact 4: <\/strong>The e-prescription can be redeemed in the pharmacy with the e-Card, as a paper prescription and via the \u201cMy SV app\u201d. This also applies if you are picking up prescription medication for another person.
