Autumn has arrived and with it many different viruses. It is already apparent that coronavirus cases are on the rise and influenza infections are also increasing. The RS virus is also very common, especially in children. The symptoms are very similar for all illnesses: a cold, fever and cough.
With an easy-to-use test from CorDx, you can independently determine whether it is the flu, a corona infection or an RS infection. This combined test from CorDx can detect all three pathogens.
The test can be carried out easily at home using the enclosed instructions for use. You will receive the test result after just 15 minutes. The sensitivity/specificity may vary depending on the pathogen:
- Covid19: sensitivity 89.09%, specificity 100.00%
- Influenza A: sensitivity 100.00%, specificity 99.34%
- Influenza B: sensitivity 96.00%, specificity 99.60%
- RSV: Sensitivity 98.98% Specificity 99.21%
Rapid test for Covid-19, influenza & RSV
The combination test can be used to detect all common corona variants, the RS virus and influenza A and B. As soon as the first cold symptoms appear, this test can be used to clarify which infection is involved. If the test is reactive, you can clarify the result with your doctor.
