Call for respect and self-evidence
People with HIV Today, with timely diagnosis and treatment, people with HIV have an almost average life expectancy and can live and work like other people. For many people with HIV today, discrimination and the fear of it are more serious than the health consequences of the infection itself. People with HIV also repeatedly experience discrimination at work. The declaration by employers counteracts this and, with the #positivarbeiten project, creates a non-discriminatory climate of respect and a matter of course, not only in the world of work.
In favour of non-discriminatory treatment of HIV-positive people in working life.
We have signed this declaration in awareness of our responsibility for the dignity of all people. Exclusion makes people ill, respect contributes to quality of life and a productive and appreciative climate. We are committed to living diversity and inclusion. 🌈
