Carl Alois Walde GmbH & Co KG was founded in Innsbruck in 1777 by Peter Walde I and is one of the oldest soap companies in Europe. For over eight generations, the knowledge of soap production has been passed on and constantly perfected.

What began as a small soap factory has developed over the centuries into an innovative company that combines tradition with modern quality assurance. Today, Walde stands for handmade soaps, sustainable cosmetic products, environmentally friendly cleaning products and fine scented candles - produced with great attention to detail.

The boss is extremely competent, hard-working and always has an open ear for my concerns. I suffer from a very severe form of dry eye and I can ask him for advice at any time. He really thinks about things, does his research and tries to help where most doctors are at their wit's end, and it's great that there are people as committed as Mr Wendl in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the big city.
