The free activity programme in your city/community

„Bewegt im Park“ offers a varied exercise programme in public spaces - free of charge and without obligation! This major initiative is organised by the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) and financed by the umbrella organisation of social insurance providers, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport (BMWKMS) and the Vienna Health Promotion Agency (WiG). The project offers everyone throughout Austria the opportunity to exercise in the fresh air free of charge from June to September.

Moving in the park: how to take part

Participation in „Bewegt im Park“ is completely free of charge and does not require prior registration. The exercise sessions on offer are aimed at people of all ages and fitness levels - from young to old, from beginner to advanced. to experienced athletes*inside. Here you have the opportunity to exercise in nature and do something for your health at the same time.

Take advantage of the varied programme to try out new sports, stay fit or simply relax actively. Not only can you strengthen your body, but you can also take the opportunity to meet new people and socialise. Whether alone or with friends, „Bewegt im Park“ offers you a great opportunity to get active and leave everyday life behind. Come along and join in - it's worth it!

How do you find the right course?

All information and course descriptions - title, date and location as well as interesting facts - are available on the website www.bewegt-im-park.at to find. The experienced instructors motivate and give helpful tips on how to stay fit and healthy. The course programme is organised by the sports associations ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion and takes place in cooperation with the social insurance companies as well as cities and municipalities.

Thanks to the cooperation with the Austrian Disabled Sports Association and Special Olympics Austria, people with disabilities also have access to a varied range of inclusion courses. In addition, the website also provides information on suitable equipment, current safety measures and possible location changes - so you are always well informed and can plan your participation in the best possible way.

Moving in the park at a glance - your benefits

Moving in the park is a free exercise programme throughout Austria - open to everyone and without registration. From June to September, the sessions take place weekly outdoors, in parks or other public places - whatever the weather. This means you can regularly do something for your health and easily integrate exercise into your everyday life.

People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome - whether beginners, those returning to fitness or sports enthusiasts. Professional trainers provide varied, motivating sessions. The programme not only promotes physical fitness, but also social contacts and joie de vivre.
