PharmaNext - The network for the pharmacy of the future

It brings together young, independent pharmacists in a strong network to jointly shape the modern pharmacy. Our aim is to pool knowledge, experience and ideas in order to make the pharmacy future-proof, innovative and patient-centred.

Change in the pharmacy world

The image of the pharmacy has changed fundamentally. Gone are the days when pharmacies were dusty and conservative or made high profits from prescriptions alone. Today, the sector is characterised by young, committed pharmacists - full of ideas, drive and visions for the future.

But the reality is challenging: rising costs, legal requirements, supply bottlenecks and bureaucratic hurdles. Many self-employed people do not feel sufficiently supported by the traditional professional organisations. Manuel Wendl, founder of PharmaNext and holder of the Johann Strauss Pharmacy in 1040 Vienna, describes it like this:

„We are full of ideas and visions for the future, but face obstacles right from the start that rob us of valuable resources.“

PharmaNext - the network for young pharmacists

This experience gave rise to PharmaNext, a network that connects young, independent pharmacists. The aim is to be strong together and make the pharmacy fit for the future as a modern healthcare centre.

The PharmaNext Network offers:

  • Exchange and co-operation: Regular video conferences to share experiences and best practices.
  • Innovation and the future: Development of new concepts for the pharmacy, e.g. joint sales strategies and digital services.
  • Solidarity instead of competition: Pooling knowledge and strengthening the pharmacy of the future together.

Manuel Wendl emphasises: „Only as a community can we make the pharmacy modern, economically strong and patient-friendly.“

Shaping the future of pharmacy together

The challenges for pharmacies are manifold: from financing and supply bottlenecks to daily patient care. This is where the PharmaNext Network to.

Participants benefit from:

  • mutual motivation and support,
  • the exchange of innovative ideas,
  • strengthening local pharmacies compared to external providers.

„The days of egotism are over,“ says Wendl. „Fighting in solitude is the wrong tactic - together we can shape the pharmacy of the future.“ There is already an article about Manuel Wendl's commitment and his project on TARA24, which you can read here. can read here.

The future lies in the local pharmacy. Let's shape it with the PharmaNext network.
