My name is Manuel Wendl and I took over the Johann Strauss pharmacy together with my team on 1 May 2023.
We offer our customers a Low-threshold access to various health topics and competent counselling. Well-founded training and further education, years of Experience and Co-operations Our close co-operation with doctors and healthcare providers enables us to provide optimum care and support. Drop by and get to know us.

About the pharmacist
After graduating, I first completed my trainee year, during which I learnt to apply my knowledge from lectures and internships to the fields of pharmacy. As a professionally authorised pharmacist, I worked in various pharmacies and was able to gain a lot of experience and network with other healthcare providers who are now working with me and my team to develop a pharmacy business. Good support and counselling environment create.
In addition to my work as a pharmacist, it is also important to me to create a balance, which I find in sport, in the garden with family and friends.
The team
The pharmacy team is on duty every day to help our customers and patients in the best possible way. Delivery bottlenecks, raw material shortages or time pressure: there is always a solution, which sometimes requires a lot of creativity.
It is important to us that everyone who visits us feels that they are taken seriously. Appreciation is part of our expertise.
The pharmacy between the main railway station and Alois-Drasche-Park in Vienna-Wieden
We see ourselves as local healthcare providers for all residents in the neighbourhood and are known for our specialist expertise far beyond that - for example when it comes to sexual health, skin or intestinal health.
Opening hours
We are six days a week there for you:
- Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday from 8 to 12 o'clock
Night shifts & on-call duty
As part of the Viennese pharmacies, we are also happy to be there for our customers outside of opening hours. We regularly take over On-call services as part of the pharmacy emergency services.
